Someone recently posted a well-meaning but irrelevant message to a discussion topic. In the "Questions About Class" topic, the question asked, "What do you think about the navigation on site X?" I had to delete it, sending the student an email explaining it was irrelevent, that I need to keep the class focused (unlike most mailing lists and message boards), and hoped we could address the question when we got to that topic. (sigh)
